Paper Arms is barely a year old, but they have hit the ground running, creating a wave of interest around the country, touring Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart, as well as getting signed to esteemed indie label, Poison City Records, and that’s all within the first 6 months!

It probably has something to do with the fact that the members of Paper Arms have spent the last decade cutting their teeth in tour vans, practice rooms, floors and stages all around the country in bands like God So Loved The World, In Fiction, STR and Avert Ruse. It was here that they learned what they liked about the music industry, and what they could do without. And it was here that a love of sharing a stage with like minded people and playing music for no other reason than the love of playing music was born.

Musically Paper Arms draw on inspiration from punk and post-hardcore bands like Rival Schools, Hot Water Music, Fugazi and Small Brown Bike. With a passion for melody and energy each song is delivered with conviction that doesn’t need to be manufactured, and something you can sing along with till your throat bleeds.

Paper Arms is a mature take on punk rock, something they believe in, and something they will quit when their hearts are no longer in it. Until then they’ll be making music for all the right reasons.
