Named after the fearless Greek who was burnt alive for voicing his opinion, Heretic believes in speaking out fearlessly and thinking out of the box, unafraid to voice their opinion and standing their ground.

Formed in Sept 2005, Heretic is a four piece metalcore/alternative metal band from Cochin, India with Akhil Unnikrishnan on vocals, Arpith Easo Samuel on drums, Ben Sam on bass guitar and Abhijit Namboodiripad on guitars.

Heretic believes only in original music. Their music is influenced by System Of A Down, Slipknot, Mudvayne and the like. The band is currently signed up to Road Crew Records and is now in the studio recording their maiden album Photographs.
