La La Entertainment and Jae E to donate all mixtape proceeds to relief in HaitiRising Arizona hip hop artist Jae E has released his debut mixtape entitled "A day in the life". "A day in the life" has been made available for free download from many of the top mixtape hosting sites such as datpiff.com, mixtapetorrent.com, thatcrack.com and mixtapepass.com. The release has been mixed to perfection by German native, Dj Cosinus, a member of the now famous Coast 2 Coast Dj coalition. As well as the above mentioned sites "A day in the life" will be made available through a site called gimmiesound.com. The site is a pioneer in offering free downloads to consumers while also paying artists through advertising revenue based on the number of downloads their tracks receive. La La Entertainment and Jae E have announced that they will be donating 100% of proceeds from the mixtape to relief efforts in Haiti, via the Music for Relief organisation. When asked about the donation plans Jae E responded by saying "with me being from New Orleans that defiantly hurt to see that happen again, it also hit especially close to home, with my girl being half Haitian, her dad was born and raised there. So that hit a little closer than people may think, that's why I feel I really need to do my part". So what can you expect when you download the mixtape? Jae E goes on to say "when you download it expect real music, plain and simple, I feel its an album quality body of work so I'm calling it a promotional album, not a mixtape", asked about his inspirations he says "I would say I had a lot of different inspirations on this one with songs such as "life is what you make it" which is more a story of my past", then there's "I made it" which has a totally different feel and sends the message of just staying on your grind until you finally make it, then you got the "goin in sessions" and "Ransom RMX" which are just pure rap and lyrics. So I feel I did something for everyone". This mixtape showcases Jae E's all round diversity, writing and lyrical abilities going from hip hop ballads like "New girl" and nationally charted single "Me 2" to raw rap with track like "Ransom RMX" and the "going in sessions". If you are not already a Jae E fan you will be after you hear this. So get out there and support Jae E, and remember when you support Jae E you will be supporting relief efforts in Haiti. Radio stations, local and national media are being asked to get on board and support the download of the mixtape at gimmiesound.com by any means they can as all proceeds will be going to relief efforts in Haiti, and as we know every little bit helps.
