Sultry, soulful and jammed packed with power and passion. Elle's performances are often compared to that of Susan Tedeschi, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Osborne, Janis Joplin, Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.
Elle spent years distinguishing the paradigm she adopted from her parents-"Singing is a dream, master a back-up plan first". A broad range of life experiences ranging from a dangerous risk taking teenage life to achieving the coveted title of Miss Massachusetts 1993(Fitzgerald was her name then!) and competing in the Miss America Pageant, being an invited guest speaker at the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives, a motivational speaker in several schools systems, a special needs teacher, a small business owner, a strong 14 year marriage and 3 children are perhaps the reasons Elle is so approachable and touches so many from diverse backgrounds.
After years of study in science, religious history and conscious self-discovery, Elle began to write music. Like magic, she realized that she "came here to sing". The lyrics and melodies that were being written were not for her alone and she had a responsibility to share them. She has not looked back, and there is no back-up plan. She knows that this is her destiny and her live performances are raw, soulful and emotionally charged with the passion of a woman who knows she's fulfilling her life's plan. A fellow musician once said "When I play a show, I want people to wake up the next day and think: "that was an awesome band last night." Elle's response was "When I perform, I want them to wake up and say: I saw Elle last night, and I FEEL different today."
